A city that models its couriers. Find every key, open the portal, and try not to become predictable — because the things hunting you are learning how you move.
Pick a tier. This is fixed for the life of the save file: every score you log is measured against it, so it cannot be changed later.
Move with the arrow keys or WASD, one cell per tick, eight ticks a second. Collect every key to open the portal out of the district, then reach it. An alien entering your cell ends the run.
Water halves how far you can be seen. Stand in it and every alien's detection ring visibly shrinks on screen. Lightning gives you double speed for three seconds. Rubble stops you but not them — aliens walk straight through broken buildings.
They divide. Every ten to fifteen seconds one alien splits in two, and they hunt as a squad: one runs you down while the others post themselves on the routes you might break toward, including the unlikely ones.
Your score is your own unpredictability — the Shannon entropy of which districts you visit. The system wins by turning you into signal; you win by staying noise.
The file follows you. A map of your habits — how closely you hug walls, how long you pause, how directly you go for a key — persists across every district this profile has ever played, and decides where aliens are sent next. District 1 faces a system that knows nothing about you. District 6 faces one that has watched five districts of your habits.
Coins and score are different things. Coins are currency: picked up off the floor, paid out for clearing a district, and spent in the shop on a stun gun or banked lightning. Score judges the run — how fast, how much you collected, how many aliens you put down — and it decays each time you replay the same district, so farming fills your wallet without inflating your record.
In a district: black boxes are shelters aliens cannot enter, and stepping into one erases what they knew about where you went. E fires the stun gun at everything that can currently see you. L toggles banked lightning on and off.
